DAY 1: The first weigh in for the Biggest Loser – Takbo.ph Edition
I got to finally weigh in for the “Biggest Loser (Takbo.ph Edition)” tonight outside ROX at Bonifacio High Street.
And the verdict is… heavier than what I expected but, I guess the scale doesn’t lie. We even got the figure twice just to be sure. In the picture is the Rico’s official BLC weighing scale. He’ll be bringing it wherever he goes and will bring it to BHS at nights.
We also took some before pics…

One full body and one close up.
I also got to meet the other contestants like Marga, Rafa and… (oh no, I’m so sorry. I’m sooo bad with names)… and by the looks of things, my biggest competitors are Enrico Villanueva (not the basketball player, hehe) aka Sheerwill and Marga, who’s deadset on winning the prize money. Looks like I have tough competition.
Thanks to Rico for organizing this one!
PS. We’re looking for sponsors to provide more prizes. So far, there is a gift certificate for CHI Spa at Shangri-La and there are rumors that Mizuno and Nike might give us something.

you can do it!
I can’t believe you ignore me hahahha!
I’m going to win this race, i’m just waiting for the awarding ceremony na lang (trash talking begins).
Hahaha! Wala na Sam… wala ka na ipapayat. And besides, may title ka na
Belly Off Club member ka na…
Btw, if you want, I can sign your issue of Men’s Health.. “To Sam, from the true biggest Loser.” Hehe
Hey eric,
losing weight and keeping the weight off is a life time commitment. it aint easy but you need to make a conscious effort to keep you weight in check. what your doing is a start. good luck and you c do it.
just for your info. i use to weight 220lbs. before running 29 years ago. now im 132lbs. you have to love running and the fat automatically keeps off for as long as you dont pigg out. good luck
Go Eric! You did it before you can do it again haha.
@Patrick Thanks Pat! Whoa?! 220lbs? That’s heavier than my heaviest. You should be on the belly off club of Men’s Health or their “ALPHA MALE: Words from the Wise” feature. That’s 88 lbs! Amazing!
Yes, your’re right, as long as you continue doing what you love to do, it comes automatically. My problem is, I love eating as much or even more than I love running. hehe!
@Luis Thanks Luis!
Hey Eric. Nice meeting you last Tuesday. Ok, now this is really getting serious. Must be at least hindi nakakahiya! hehehe. See you!
Uy…pano sumali jan? I want in!!! Sali din ako! I need this challenge … badly!!!
