A look back at the Dean’s Cup

Posted by Passion Runner On September - 15 - 2009

The UP Law Dean’s Cup – I’m guessing this will probably be one of those most sought after awards or distinctions one can get from the UP College of Law.  What is interesting is that one doesn’t even have to be a lawyer or law student!

Preparing for the bar

As a means of preparing its students for the bar, the UP College of Law made several programs like the specialized bar review program for its recent graduates among other things. No one ever expected the Dean to consider engaging in sports to improve the College’s bar passing rate.

There is supposedly a study that suggests improved cognitive function among individuals who engage in physical activities such as sports. It is also theorized that individuals who engage in sports are less stressed, have a more positive outlook and overall aura.

I have a new blog

Posted by Passion Runner On September - 10 - 2009

site-passion

I decided to put up another blogsite… ever since I revamped RUN4CHANGE.COM, I sorta lost my identity as Passion Runner and most of my postings were about events. Rarely did I get to write about my experiences, training or other activities. It may also be perhaps one of the reason that I lost my motivation to run as often as I did. Whatever the case, I am now officially launching my new site… http://run4change.com/passion.

It is also a site that is not limited to running but will include other things that I do, especially my advocacies, whether it be running, iamninoy, Gawad Kalinga, UP, or Upsilon. The new site will be a lot simpler and much more personal. RUN FOR CHANGE has taken a new turn and in order for me not to lose myself, I decided to have a different site altogether.

I hope you guys will visit both :)

NOTES: It took us a while to release the results since we had to double check the categories. A handful of people had mistakenly placed themselves in the wrong categories, while others did not indicate their category thus automatically putting them in the OPEN category.

.

There are no MALE and FEMALE categories as previously annouced, only UP Law Student, UP Law Faculty, Admin/Staff, UP Law Alumni and OPEN.

.

All those who registered late (ie. after the cut-off time of 5:30AM) may not be included in the official results.
