A lot of runners don’t like registering for races early, most especially if the race kits are not yet available. No one likes going back and forth to the registration center, only to find out that the race singlet and other materials are not there. In order to encourage participants to register early, we’re giving discounts to as high as P150 off! Imagine that!

Since that announcement, I came across the “earliest bird” who registered for the Individual Triathlon… Can anyone guess who it is. [CLUE: She's part of a UP Law Sorority. Take a look at her shirt]. She availed of the P150 off for July registrants.

These are the EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS available for the 2.2k, 5k and 10k events of the DEAN’s CUP.

We have several registration centers, but the main site is of course located at the Dean’s Office at the UP College of Law. Just look for these two lovely ladies and they’ll hand you the registration form (LEFT) and a receipt (RIGHT). You can also ask them any of your questions and they’ll gladly answer.

    Hi, Eric.

    I’m a bit confused. Does the early bird discount also apply to the the individual triathlon registrants like what the lady above got?

    Also, will the triathlon registration fee include a finisher’s singlet?

    Sorry for the confusion. Our “earliest bird” got a discount for registering her friends for the fun run, while she registered for the triathlon. There are no early bird rates for the invitational triathlon.

    The following items are included in the triathlon kit:
    -race bib
    -race no. holder
    -maps, mechanics, etc
    -complimentary breakfast

    Hey Eric! I agree, a lot of runners (myself included) hate registering early, if only because it’s a big hassle to go back for race kits. Nice that you’re offering a discount. Too bad I could only swim to save my life, and I never was never truly weaned off those training wheels haha :) How long is the fun run btw? Good job organizing these man, keep up the good work!

    Sir, i tried registering at R.O.X. but nobody is manning the booth. I’m from Parañaque so i have a hard time coming to U.P. I’m also ordering 1 pc COLLECTOR’S SINGLET.
