1 week off - recovery week.

After feeling bad about my performance in the Nike Human Race (finished 00:57:42), I was raring to trainer harder, longer and by all means push myself to my limits… only to find out I can’t.

Coach Rio says that it’s my recovery week… he tells me to “relax” and I’m also not allowed to lift weights. pure rest. In fact, my workout for tomorrow is merely 3k. Uh… not worth running in UP for. Hahaha! I mean, I’m not bringing my running gear to UP to run 3k, take a shower afterwards and bring extra cloths. Not worth the hassle. So I’m planning to do it tomorrow morning at 5am before I head to school. (I should be sleeping now if I’m going to push thru with it…)

Well to those who were cheering me up after it was obvious that I was down after the Nike Human Race and also here in the blog, thanks :) Joe, I guess you were right all along… matigas lang talaga ulo ko. Haha! Coach told me, relax lang… be patient.

My other worry… if I don’t have any physical activity, I might get fat! OH NO! Haha… But I think I’ve lost enough weight that I can afford to gain a little. :D

I did circuit training today… well, that’s what coach calls it. After my 2km warmup, stretches and drills, I did 10 stairs, 5 bleachers, 3×100m and 3 rounds recovery plus core exercises. I was done in about an hour… fast. Mas matagal pa kwentuhan ko.

Happy Feet were there… and they really are happy! :D
