Men’s Health 10,000km Miracle Run

mens-health-miracle-run.jpgMen’s Health is having another race this coming August. It’s for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation. Only 1,000 participants shall be taken in. For every finisher, Men’s Health will be donating P200. This is definitely one race I’ll be joining… Hopefully, by this time, Run for Change would have made our own race uniform :)

Admit it… you run either to stay fit or to win. Now, it’s time to put your money where your foot is…
This August, make a difference… lace up your running shoes and be counted.

The Men’s Health 10,000km Miracle Run
is a unique event that will gather all sorts of runners—those who run to compete or simply those who want to push their limits. This time, they’re all running for those who can’t.

Be part of this unique running event where finishing first or last doesn’t matter at all.

Be one of more than 1,000 runners who will run a 10km. course (OR a cumulative total distance of 10,000 km.) for the benefit of those who can’t.

Now you won’t just be cheering for the first ones to finish!

What’s at stake?
There are no losers in this event. Everyone who signs up is already a winner. For every finisher, Men’s Health will donate P200 to GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc. If all runners finish the course, the event will donate a minimum of P200,000!

  1. thanks for this info. Hopefully can be part of the 1,000 runners. :)

  2. yeah! I’m also looking forward to this :D

  3. Looking forward to this one too. I just downloaded the reg form and hope to register today. It may run out of slots before the race day.

  4. You know what, you’re right… I should do the same.

  5. I was at ROX this evening to sign up for the race, I was not aware that the registration and claim bid are at a different location and no one at the shop can give me a good explanation of what proof I have to have to claim my bid #, after I paid the registration fee of $350. I did not sign up for the race. will you help me to understand this. Thank you.

  6. Hi O’connell

I think that you register at the 3 locations given, Summit Media Publishing, ROX, All-Terra Bike shop. Then you claim the race kit at Summit Media come August. I guess you can show the receipt they’ll give you or a copy of the registration form when claim the race kit. I’ll be registering later today. And the reg fee is P350, not $350 :D

  7. The race I participated they all provided the bid # when I rigistered. why is different with this race?

  8. I just registered yesterday. Like O’connell, the lady at Powerbooks-ATC are not aware yet. But they got my payment, gave me the receipt and claim stub for the race packet. They’ll just text me if my race bib is available. Quite a hassle but I think they know what they are doing since they have dont that during the All-Terrain Race. I dont want to say more, baka may ma-predict naman ako at magkatotoo. :D

  9. I think they’re not yet done with the printing of the bibs and the race singlets. I had someone register for me… but I don’t mind, since they’re only having 1,000 runners. I don’t think they’re really after a big number since the event is mostly for advocacy.

  10. Hi Passion Runner, I registered for the Miracle Run last Tuesday - bad experience for me. They said that I should call before I pick up the race packet on August 6.

  11. Hi TheFitMommy! Well, let’s just hope it’s worth the wait :)

  12. Hello miracle runners,

My name is Neil Palabrica and I’m the Team Publisher of Summit’s Men’s Magazines, which includes Men’s Health.

I would like to apologise to you guys for what you had to go through when you were registering for the miracle run. You can be assured that we’re doing our very best to ensure that these “mix-ups” don’t happen again.

Anyway, I just want to say thank you for your patience and for believeing in this project.

    See you on Aug 17th!

    Neil

  13. Hi Neil! Wow :) You visit my site pala ;) I’m looking forward to running on the 17th. I wasn’t able to run the first two MH runs, the Urbanathlon and the Trail Run… But the Miracle Run is definitely one I will not miss. Nothing beats running for a cause (or change ;) ). No worries about the late singlets. I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait. From what I hear, MH still never fails to impress :D

Also, I’d like to say that I enjoy reading your magazine. A lot of useful information. And one of my dreams, to be part of the belly off club :D Hehe

  14. Hi Passion Runner,

Sayang you missed the last All-terrain Race! Anyway, don’t worry because it’s an annual thing naman and we’ll be having our Urbanathlon on November 16! ;)

Thank you for supporting our events and am just glad that we’re able to provide you with the stuff you need thru the magazine.

Am sure pwede ka sa belly-off club … runner ka kaya … email me if you want to pursue and will endorse it to editorial.
