ULTRA Mornings
I love my ULTRA mornings. Other than Sunday races, these are the mornings that I really look forward to. It serves as a stress reliever from the hectic schedule I have. It’s the time I get to let everything out, and after a good workout, I end up feeling refreshed and energized.
Today, I did 3 sets of 3×400m. My first lap was at 00:01:19. Relatively fast according to Coach. Haha! Then the next lap was 00:01:35, followed by 00:01:41. Coach was saying, “O, ano nangyari sa ‘yo?” And my response was… “Pasikat lang ako nung una! Hehe!”
The second set was 00:01:41, 00:01:30, 00:01:38. The last set, I wasn’t able to take note off… I was too busy catching my breath
In between each set, I’d have a REALLY SLOW walk around the oval to recover… I think one lap was sooo slow that it took me 7 mins. Haha!
After the track session, I did the usual core exercises. I love my new schedule… I had my class schedule altered so that I’d still be able to go to ULTRA. Sayang din naman kasi, eh.
Tomorrow, I’ll be running with Marga at BHS using the One La Salle 16k route. Instead of doing 2 laps though, we’ll just be doing one. I want to have a feel first of the route before I do this Sunday’s 10-miler.
