I’ve been thinking the past week whether I’d go for the One La Salle run [download registration here] this Sunday. 5k is too short and 16k is too long and maybe boring for my tastes… and after a really bad showing for my first 18k, I’m still thinking whether I’ll do the 16k. Well, it’s shorter than 18k but still…

I ran 7.7k late this afternoon around UP. The weather was perfect. There was also a cool breeze and the sun had already set. I did one round warm up (2.2k) and two and half rounds at 5k pace (2.5x 2.2km). The one-way scheme around the academic oval has proven beneficial for runners, joggers and cyclists alike. There is also less pollution since there are less cars. I also noticed more people walking ever since the one-way scheme.

Anyway… I’m chatting with Marga right now and we’re thinking about doing a practice run this Thursday using the One La Salle 16k route [download 16k route here] just to see get a feel of the course. It’s not definite yet but for sure, we’ll be running this Thursday.
