In preparation for Runnex@25
I’ve been training the past two weeks for Runnex@25. I wonder how well I’ll do tomorrow. It’s been 3 weeks since my last 10k run. Mostly, I’ve been doing some speed training to improve my very very slow 7mins/km pace. I’ve also done some drills and learned how to properly warm up and stretch. I’ve done fartleks, interval training and tempo runs. I’ve gained more discipline in waking up earlier just to train at 6am in the morning.
I’m really hoping that I do well tomorrow. Perhaps aim to do a pace of 6mins/km and finally go under an hour. My past 10k races have always been at a pace of 7mins or so. Subic Marathon was 1:15:26, AISEC was 1:10:53 and Mizuno was 1:10:09. Up to now, the results of On Your Markhave not yet come out.
Anyway, I hope to see all of you tomorrow at Runnex@25!
