Run for Change

With everything that is going on around us, with all the issues that crop up left and right, we can’t just stand still. We need to go out and speak out our minds. It is when the silent people that start to talk that everyone listens. It is about time that the silent majority speak up and make everyone hear loud and clear what it is we want. It is about time that we make ourselves heard. WE WANT CHANGE.

With each individual that starts to care, that wants to be involved and that wants to be heard is one more step towards achieving change. We are not saying that we against someone or something. What we are saying is that we are FOR something, and that something is CHANGE.

Things don’t have to be complicated. It starts with simple statements that we want to achieve. It is not complaining about who did this, what went wrong or whose fault it is. It is about saying in the simplest terms possible what it is that YOU want, for YOURSELF, for OTHERS, or for this NATION.

What is run for change?

Run for change is making a statement. Say whatever it is that you want. Make the everyone see that you are the statement. It can be as simple as, “I want so see the Philippines slum-free” or “I want to economic stability” or “I want better wages.” The only restriction is that you have to make a positive statement.

After choosing or making your own statement, wear it in front. If you’re wearing a race bib, wear the statement at your back for everyone to read.

Run for change is making that first small step. It takes some people a lot of courage to speak up their mind. Run for change makes it simple by asking people to start with just one simple statement or aspiration. For their next run, they can choose to have the same statement or make a new one. As runners get used to running for change, they will feel more comfortable and at ease with being a running statement.

Run for change is for everyone. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement or restriction. The person who wants to run for change does not even have to run, as long as they are willing to be their own walking statement can take part in this revolutionary movement.

HOW DOES RUN FOR CHANGE WORK?
